Account Access at ATMs and POS
Your credit union card may be used at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and at Point-of-Sale (POS) locations, such as supermarkets and gas stations, that require entry of a PIN (Personal Identification Number) to transact business.

Your PIN will be sent to you in a separate mailing for security purposes. It’s possible to change the PIN at any branch to one you can remember more easily.

Foreign ATM Fees and Surcharges
A foreign ATM fee is the modest fee (currently $1) that MHV charges to offset our costs when you use an ATM owned by another institution. These fees are waived if you maintain $1,000+ in savings or checking, or if you’re an E-Member.

Surcharges are fees imposed by the institution that owns the ATM; you should always be advised of surcharges before your transaction is processed and have an opportunity to cancel the transaction if you don’t wish to pay them.

There are no fees or surcharges when you use an ATM owned by Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. However, we realize that you're not always near one of our ATMs, so we've made arrangements with Key Bank for surcharge-free service at any of their ATMs throughout New York State. (The credit union covers the cost of these transactions at a reduced rate so that you aren't charged.) You can also use any ATM bearing a SUM or CO-OP Network logo or ATMs located at Publix Super Markets surcharge-free. Please keep in mind that you may be subject to a foreign ATM fee for those transactions performed at an ATM not owned by Mid-Hudson Valley FCU.

E-Members may receive a refund of surcharges up to $5/month upon presentation of receipts.
