MHV is a not-for-profit, member-owned, financial cooperative offering a full array of financial services to meet the needs of our members. MHV is a strong advocate of the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People". We have been providing outstanding member service since 1963, when we opened our doors as IBM Kingston Employees Federal Credit Union. In 2002 MHV became a community credit union allowing us to extend membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers or attends school - and businesses and other legal entities - in Ulster, Dutchess or Orange County, NY.

Today MHV serves over 57,000 members and has over $700 million in assets. Along with nine branches in Kingston, Saugerties, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie, Highland, Newburgh and Middletown, MHV provides 24/7 Personal Teller Service, a 24/7 Call Center, EARS Bank-By-Phone, a Worldwide Network of ATMs, Internet Home Banking & Bill Payer, On-Line Applications and more.
